This Privacy Policy explains how GridVert, operated by GridVert ("we", "us"), collects, uses and shares information when you use the GridVert platform, websites and browser extension (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

• Account information — when you sign in via a third party (e.g. Twitch, Kick) we receive your name, email, avatar and platform handle.
• Payment information — card payments are processed by Stripe; we receive transaction metadata but not your full card details. For crypto payments we record wallet addresses and transaction hashes.
• Service data — assets you upload, ads and templates you create, placements, budgets and approvals.
• Usage & device data — basic logs, IP address and browser information used to operate and secure the Service.
• Product analytics — we record how you interact with the Service (for example, signing in, creating assets and ads, and placing or receiving placements) using PostHog, our analytics provider. These events are linked to your account so we can understand and improve key flows. We do not include sensitive details such as full wallet addresses in this analytics data.

2. How we use information

• To provide, operate and improve the Service — matching advertisers and streamers, displaying ads, and processing payments and payouts.
• To approve ad content and enforce our Terms and acceptable-use rules.
• To communicate with you about your account, transactions and support requests.
• To detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse and security issues.

3. How we share information

• Between advertisers and streamers — the limited information needed to facilitate a placement (e.g. an ad's creative and the streamer it runs on).
• Service providers — such as Stripe (payments/payouts), PostHog (product analytics) and our cloud/hosting providers, who process data on our behalf.
• Legal — where required by law or to protect the rights, safety and property of GridVert, our users or the public.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies & the browser extension

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences. The GridVert browser extension renders the ad overlay on supported stream pages and exchanges only the data needed to display placements and complete wallet-based checkout; it does not read unrelated page content.

5. Data retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

6. Your rights

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
